Happy Thanksgiving yall! I'm already anticipating tomorrow's "stuffing" at meal time. I've got to get in the kitchen this afternoon and whip up 2 old fashioned pecan pies to take to the festivities. Yummmmmmmmmmm!

Gentlemen;

I'd like jump in now & wish everyone a "Happy Thanksgiving" as well! (A late night tonight & busy day tomorrow will keep me from checking in, more than likely).

Being a part of this form/community is at the TOP of my list for things to be thankful for!

Enjoy your friends & family.......

My day is off to a good start. The marathoners have been running by my building for about an hour. There's some smoking hot flesh on display this morning. Yes, I have much to be thankful for! :)

It's hilarious watching the runners slip off the course to take a leak, thinking no one can see 'em. Admirers from many stories above are watching. HAHA! Even as a type, a woman just slipped off the track and dropped her drawers. I could do without that......

So much to be thankful for this year - surviving SANDY with minimal damage is one, while sadly seeing so many neighbors still without so much. I have done all I can to go out to them, arrange transport, do home visits to shut-ins with packages of warm food and toiletries, cleaning up, remving garbage, helping others to clear out debris from yards, coordinating food and clothing to most needy (and there are more than you can imagine.

Today I will take time off with family, enjoying the banter of brothers and sisters joking and ribbing each other around a heavily-laden table while neices and nephews squirm wondering how and why they are "related" to us all (and how to disown us, I suppose!). I am grateful that all of my siblings are still with me, and we can - after nearly 6 decades - still enjoy each other's company without rancor, encouraging each other, supporting each other, and unconditionally loving each other.

Hope all have had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. Have just returned from dinner at my niece's and I'll be damned the meal was actually eatable. She slaughtered the turkey trying to carve it but other than that all has greatly improved over the years. Have a great Black Friday.
