Here's why people hate him. He wins a ton of awards (by the voting population of tweenage girls) last night on the American Music Awards (what a misnomer) and what does he do? Is he gracious? Humble in victory? NO. He takes the opportunity to go after the "haters who said I would last." "I'm going to be around along time," he said.

What a putz. This is just another reason why so many of us find him repulsive. No talent and no class. What a combination.

I thought it was about time he said something back..."damned if you do and damned if you don't."

How about just saying "thank you" when you receive an award and leave it at that? Or is that so ... 1940s?

Dude, you really need to get over this hate for JB. It's truly not attractive. No one says you have to like his music, but seriously, get over it.

Dude? You have an odd conception of "hate." It's called criticism. Bieber needs to be stamped out. He represents everything that is wrong with popular culture.

Calling for someone to be stamped out is not criticism.

It's hate.

Think VERY carefully about your next post on the subject.

I don't really have an opinion of him one way or the other I'm to old for his type of music. Unless i see a thread on here or something on ET or showbiz tonight I don't give him any thought.

Can I start a JB appreciation thread to balance this one out?

lol lol...I don't know Xander, deej just fired a shot across the bow, I am not sure you want to 'rock the boat' just yet. Might want to give this a couple of days to settle down.

Opera, you need to stop giving out your passwords to 12 year-old girls. Someone apparently hacked into your account and started this thread.

I wish society would give a collective belch or fart or whatever and get the whole "they have/don't have class" comment out of their system—which in recent years has turned into the most obnoxiously overused and meaningless phrase since Jesus brought you "have a blessed day."

Justin is a teenager who is under a very huge microscope right now and has a remarkable weight on his shoulders—and whether it's self-induced or not is irrelevant. You're (allegedly) a grown man who has matured and seen the world and experienced life and had time to figure out the "classy" response to situations that you're with which you're faced.

Give the kid a break and admire his work ethic—seeing how nothing he does affects you in the least, that would be the classy thing to do.

ROTFLMAO. Thanks for a hearty laugh this early in the day!

I agree with operalover, i saw this part of the show and instead of thanking his fans for the award he immediately made this statement. I found it self-serving and in poor taste. It did not make him look good, just made him look like a spoiled child.
