A few minutes ago, I read "Daddy's" message to us about his last birthday year. ...was sorry to hear about his difficulties with health, partnership, and other matters

to which, I believe, all of us can relate, and I was elated to read about his upturns. I would also like to suggest, although I'll presume that his primary care physician has addressed

this, that perhaps "Daddy" {as well as most of us} change our eating habits or regimen. That too is one principal component in having solid health. Cut out the red meat,

the sugars and the fats and the salts and resort to eating fresh fruits and veggies and fish and chicken, Greek yogurt, etc. Follow Weight Watchers guidelines and/or perhaps Doctor Oz or some other reputable program. In a matter of time viable changes in your health will become quite apparent and noticeable.

I am addicted to eating a pint of Haggen daz, much too often and something that I must give up if I desire to live longer and not encounter major health problems, namely that of the heart. I try to eat "right" otherwise, and in conjunction with eating a health-ladden diet, I must begin a walking regimen. A lovely path is almost at my doorsteps; have I taken advantage of it?

No, but in my writing this message to all of us, I must begin to do as suggested: "practice what I am advising."

Daddy, I wish you the utmost on your rebound, especially since you've just celebrated another major milestone: earning another year!

Ax, I am with you in wishing the best to Daddy, but we all know that YOU are not about to give up red MEAT, or dark meat for that matter. WE are just diehard MEAT eatters, and some habits just cant be broken. Sucking on the bones aint too shabby either.. :o

But your advice is solid and really should be followed at ANY age... Best of luck to everyone.
