James and I decided that we are going to attend. We can't afford a train/plane ticket so we will be driving; we're also both in school, so we will be heading out Friday after class -- its a 13 hour drive so hopefully I won't be too tired by the time I get to meet you guys.

I am so glad you are going to be able to make it. You are the last of the original DC luncheon attendees I hadn't heard from, so I'm really glad you are going to be able to make it.

 

More attendees than ever before. I always wonder if people still want to do it, and each year we keep adding more and more. I'd better call Annie's and increase the number. When I made the reservations a few weeks ago, I told them 16. Now that we are 24, we'll probably be able to take over the entire back room. And I know there's still room for more.

 

I'll be sending everyone a PM in the week before the events to review the schedule. Have a great Christmas everyone and see you in DC in 3 weeks.

Hi Lee ... could you add one more to the luncheon reservation? Now knowing that Daddy is attending I cannot miss the opportunity to finally meet 'the man' in person - its time our years of telephone relationship evolves especially now that he's visiting the 'right' coast. And with Ace and Dave urging me on ...well I really look forward to meeting many on the forum I've 'read' for all these years and maybe make a few new friends. And yes Dave, to answer, I will come by after lunch - what miss your tour!!?? Not to mention meeting a few other Escorts I've come to know through the site that mentioned they are coming in this thread - hey, I'll try to dig up some tee-shirts to hand out. Ahhh... something to take the winter chill out of the air as the days get longer!

Okay, I'm now officially blown away by this thing. What started as a little party for friends a couple of years ago is just incredible. Two years ago, I didn't even know it was MAL weekend, but tying it to that weekend sure has helped.

 

Michael -- I'm glad you can make it.

 

Zach -- Not much notice is needed. I'm certain we've got the room at the back of Annie's for lunch, so no big deal.

 

I will be sending out a PM to everyone on Monday or Tuesday just to refresh the plans, give addresses, and my contact info in case anyone needs to call or text me.

 

We are now almost 30. Just unbelievable.
