Antonio Banderas in Nine

For all you "Broadway babies" out there...

and for those of you who think Antonio Banderas is cute (I do) I'd like to say he isn't just a pretty face. The guy can really sing. In a somewhat over-miked, murkily lit revival of "Nine" he holds his own with a formidable cast of strong women. Despite some very weird and dangerous staging (one of the actresses is bound to break a leg during the run) it's a good show with a very operatic score. Fellini fans will get a kick out of it too. I think the original production with Raul Julia was better, but Antonio is definitely cuter. Nice to see his wife there lending support. That bitch!!! (just kidding)

Latin luck hits New York as Benjamin Bratt is also going to be here in an off-Broadway play. Now I will get to compare him in the flesh to Antonio (the Gaiety one!).

I wonder if Bratt or Banderas has nine inches?

hijinx, Antonio Gaiety has 17 inch arms, and very good lats. Maybe we should go see this new Bratt play together and discuss among ourselves.
