That sounds like a Zoom goodie. (Please tell me someone got that reference!)

RE: Surrogate

I've had more than one client make the comment that the time they spent with me was much more therapeutic than with their therapists/psychologists/psychiatrists. I offer my advice NOT as a licensed professional, but more as a friend.

There's one client who I'd seen several times over the course of a year who at the age of 35 had NEVER had sex with a man or a woman. Although he was still a virgin, he had known for years that he was gay. I suppose I was a sexual surrogate for him offering the opportunity to learn something about sex with a man.

I was VERY happy for him when he told me that he'd met someone online and that they'd been conversing for a while and had decided to meet in person. They did, sparks flew and are still a couple nearly 3 or so years later. This did mean a loss of business to me, but it was more rewarding to see the change in him, his increased self-esteem and overall happiness at being able to share his life with someone else.

>Gee, you're a regular one-man band of comme il

An all knowing man, on every topic under the sun! A real self-important person whose expertise is beyond question. Doesn't matter if the topic is politics, religion, AIDS, therapy, Brazilian escorts, hiring escorts, or the marketing campaigns of escorts, he is the ultimate authority. :(

>Who are

>you in real life? Tom Cruise?

Now that's a joke! If he was Tom Cruise, he wouldn't be resorting to hiring escorts, who he doesn't communicate with and then tries to short change, so he can come on this board and whine about it.

If you'll recall, it wasn't your deep throat that caused me to hire you. But it was your incredible throat, tongue and lips that caused the eruption of my life, causing you to get a somewhat unexpected cum facial!

(Now the next time I'm in New York, your throat will probably be near the top of the list of why I'll see you again, although I've begun to experiment and it's quite possible I might have to investigate that hot ass of yours. I hear you enjoy getting topped by a bottom!)

My criticism was not of escorts, but rather of therapists and those who indulge such pseudo-science, but who then go on to misrepresent their therapists as supporting their habits. At least in the case of psychiatrists, as I have shown above, that is about as likely as a physician prescribing a cigarette or "supporting" the use of the same. Please use escorts if you want, but take responsibility for your actions and choices, don't blame it on the white coat set.

Hmmh, I guess that means I have a lot in common with you then?:p

I suspect that the difference in expeience may depend in part on whether you are seeking tops or bottoms.

Yeah, that was hot! Luckily I didn't get any in my eyes or mouth...but my skin sure was glowing that night. :p

Tedbear, this is very true & I look forward to the investigation (and exploration and penetration). }( Although I must admit, there's very little I don't enjoy. After all, I'm...

You're absolutely right as always, Deej. I'd already clicked the "post message" button before I realized it was a mistake. I did learn to ignore the previous avatar of this person, and from now on I'll resume the practice no matter what it says. I confess that I flamed, that that's exactly the reaction it was seeking, and that I'm both sorry and embarrassed that I did it. Thanks for the heads-up.

Just a question: Are you a psychiatrist? You seem to believe that you know what every psychiatrist would say. I am not a psychiatrist but I have worked with many of them. In my experience they have not been as monolithic as you seem to think.

No, I am a lawyer, and I would love to have those psychiatrists you mention as clients or have a client who wants to sue one or all of them, if they say something other than what I have said above having regard to the AMA rules that I cited. I'll make a deal with you: when a member of the anti-depressant set here commits a crime and wants to invoke the psychiatrist/escort (twinkie) defense, give me a call please.:p

So Will is really Tom Cruise? Boy that would blow the lid off this place! (In case you are, Will, I know a really hot hairy white guy.)

On the subject at hand, not Rick, but what you are looking for, assuming that it isn't Rick, I think the time spent is a lot about social interaction. That's why I don't hire an escort who isn't friendly. So I guess attitude comes first, then me. My therapist agrees.

RE: Surrogate

Always have to get that last word in, don't you? I may be opinionated about a lot of topics, you present yourself as the ultimate word on every topic under discussion. You deconstruct something as personal as someone's therapy sessions, as if you were a psychiatrist/psychologist and know everything about the situation. The day I get as bad as you, will be the day I step in front of the first speeding freight train I see. Well, let's see perhaps I need to get your expertise about trains so I pick the right one.

If someone chooses to discuss their therapy on this Board, yes I do feel free to respond and to "deconstruct" it, not as a psychiatrist, but as an attorney. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to google the AMA site and to see that which this particular member of the anti-depresant set stated to be the case was most likely not to be the case.
