I've always loved getting a good bj (even a mediocre bj can be enjoyable). Lately I've noticed less enjoyment from getting them but during the last week while on vacation I hired three guys and in each case the bjs were less than satisfying....I didn't get the same feelings as I have in the past. Upon reflection, it does seem to have diminished somewhat over the last year but this past week was really noticeable. I can't fault the guys I hired as they were into it and definitely knew how to give good ones but it just didn't work for me. Is it age, a medical issue, too many jo sessions over the years, too tight underwear, etc? I am somewhat depressed by this turn of events and wonder if anyone has this same experience or any advice. Thanks in advance....wayout

I recommend contacting your physician. It may be as simple as age, but it could also be a health issue or simply change in your diet or medications. In my case, I know when my work life is a little more hectic and stressful, it affects my sexual activities.

Before visiting the physician, think through whether this is only when receiving oral, or whether you are noticing this in other activities as well. The more information you can share with your MD, the more accurate his diagnosis will be.

Is your cock as hard as it normally would be? My thinking is if your cock is not as hard then the skin is not as tight and that could affect the sensation. Just a thought.

Good advice. Any changes to pleasure from masturbation?

Conditions such as Sleep Apnea can effect this. I have Sleep Apnea and would snore and stop breathing during sleep. This lack of getting oxygen definitely effected sexual performance. I almost never would wake up with an erection, during sex or masturbation I wasn't getting as hard as I used to. I had originally thought it was just having to do with getting older. Since using a Cpap machine that has changed. I'm having no issues getting full erections, I usually have an erection when I wake up, sex and masturbation is very satisfying.

Also consider if you are getting a enough physical activity, and not just in the bedroom (but that's always a good thing anyways). MAking sure the blood gets pumping to all the right parts is a good thing for you. Like the others have said, a frank discussion with your doctor, try to give as much information as possible.

My personal feeling is that it could just be a matter of finding someone that really really really turns you on. (notice really three times). I was in a kind of similar situation, until I hired a guy in LA who was unbelievably amazing. Eureka! I was back, well back with the help of a little pill..you might try some assistances in this area. Might work.

I also started eating better and going to the gym everyday, and lost some weight. All those things and that mentioned in the previous paragraph did the trick, Which one specifically, I will never know, but my goal was to cure the problem, not do research..LOL Good Luck.

it is possible that it is not you at all but it could be that the 3 men you hired were just bad at sucking cock. Even though an escort does suck does not mean that they will be good at it (hell, there are some men that like to suck cock and are not good at it).

I am with Sam on this one. A visit with your gay friendly urologist or internist is worthwhile None of the other advise is bad, ie a pill, exercise, fish oil, etc., but to be on the very safe side, get checked out. This could be a sign of more significant issues, and the sooner you check it out, the better.

I am with Travis. Sounds like all he needs is a good doctor, well one that gives a good blow job that is. Which goes back to my earlier point of maybe he needs someone really really really new and exciting.

Sam gave you some really good advice. It could be any number of things. The one thing you're doing that's most important is a check to see if this is an isolated incedent or part of a pattern. As others have indicated, check to see if similar changes are effecting your erection and orgasm during masterbation. Once you have a good idea of how you're reacting, see a doctor.
