I believe when you are seeing clients for many years and they have treated you so well, any gesture small or large is greatly appreciated. The answer is yes, but not often. With a regular guy we often would spend an afternoon/evening together and he often insisted in buying dinner, or if we went out late at night, he was always wanting to pick up part of the tab.
