I'm thinking of this because I'm annoyed that every over-the-shoulder bag I've seen any man carrying has blocked my view of his butt.

 

And I'm just not happy about that.

You could ask the next guy you see with one if he could kindly shorten the straps on his bag so it falls just above his butt, instead of on top of it He'll thank you later once he realizes all the newfound attention he'll attract.

 

I've noticed lots (maybe most) guys on MUNI here have switched from over-the-shoulder bags to backpacks. There are some fancy new backpacks around these days with places for laptops etc, and they do not obstruct the view of the butt (or wreck your shoulder for that matter). Win-win as far as I'm concerned!

Thanks, Nate. Maybe I can make it my new line of work to

 

a) search out guys with great butts who are carrying messengers bags in the way of their butt and

 

b) sell them one of the bags you mention and

 

c) never have my view impeded again!
