There's a lot of truth in the statement. On the other hand, I'm not sure I want to relive my 20s.

I first puzzled over what "grow up" meant---was it just getting older or was it accepting and dealing with responsiblity? Or both?

There are people, of early, middle and old age, who have never accepted responsiblity and to be honest, I don't admire or envy them. They just make me uncomfortable and at times more than a little peeved. When you don't "grow up" it leaves others to clean up the mess you leave behind.

But then again, perhaps I am taking the whole thing too seriously and need to enjoy moments of second childhood more often, you think???
