I can relate. A few years ago a moose jumped across the road in front of me. All I remember clearly is hitting the brakes very hard and watching the back end of the animal pass my windshield and disappear into the trees on the other side of the road.

Oh and this where another Swedish elk or moose(they seemt o use the words interchangeably) is suspected to have killed a woman after possibly being drunk. The poor husband was arrested and spent a few days in jail.
