Spain: July 22 till Aug 1

I'll be visiting Spain beginning this Sunday. My local itinerary is still a bit open......but I think I will be doing Seville, Barcelona, and Madrid. If anyone is going to be in Spain at the same time, let me know. Maybe we can hook-up for a drink or lunch or something.

Dear god in heaven ----- Sevilla this time of year will be hot, hotter, hottest. Why not head north instead of south. Santiago de Compostella is wonderful and so are some of the fishing villages along the coast of Galicia.

You're not kidding. Sevilla was scorching hot. Reminded me of Phoenix in July. Difference was that Sevilla just shuts down in the summer from 1:00pm till 6:00pm for the siesta. Everyone goes back to work at 6:00pm. Kind of strange but makes sense due to the daytime heat.
