Are you familiar with "Incognito Mode?" When I tried to remove something from history it alerted me to say: Use incognito mode next time, by hitting Shift + CTRL + N.

Here's what it does:

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close all open incognito windows. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Yes, I am familiar with Incognito mode. I think it is a great feature, but I would like to see something in between Incognito mode and "you can't save passwords without saving every single site you ever browsed" mode. There are privacy settings, but they are not as well-developed nor are they as easy to locate as those in Firefox. Like many Google products, Chrome feels like it was thrown together over the course of an afternoon and tossed into the marketplace.

If you're saving passwords you're saving site URLs. If you want to save passwords and use incognito mode, install lastpass. open an incognito window re-enable lastpass. addons are disabled by default in incognito mode.

How does it feel thrown together?
