Charlie Boghosian is a pioneer when it comes to frying stuff that shouldn't be fried. He's a man of conviction, and a man of no boundaries.

 

This year at the San Diego County Fair, he's debuting Totally Fried Cereal, in Trix and Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors.

No thanks...everyone has to draw their own line in the sand and this is mine. I really avoid, as much as humanly possible, anything deep fried. This one, for me, is over the top and while it may be very good, I can't see myself giving it a try.

I am always amused (and disgusted) each year when they fry something new, someone always has to try to beat last year (wasn't that deep fried butter sticks last summer?)

Hmm.. occasional tempura vegetables are about as far as I can go, fried sweet stuff is just too much for me.
