Hey guys anyone out there know of any hourly hotels in NYC that are available for early morning appointments and half way decent? Many thanks.

The Bowery Hotel. I'm not sure what you consider "decent," but anything rented hourly in NYC will resemble a homeless shelter.

Thanks citylaw. I meant by decent is its at least clean well like you said for an hourly hotel ;)

Mainly reserved for low end prostitution and drug use. I recommend steering clear, unless you fall into the aforementioned categories. You might have a hard time hiring an escort of quality should you choose this type of accommodation.

Doesn't fit my profile I'm not really into that category. I'm a bit more "seasoned" than a crack house (not that there's anything wrong with that). ;). Problem is find something that's ok. Have a "buddy" but neither of us can host so was looking for a little play area in the city for early morning fun before we went to wrk

Have you considered going to the West Side club (27 west 20th street) or East Side club (227 east 56th street). Both are bathhouses and are reasonably clean for an impromptu romp and tumble. I haven't been for a while but have had many fun times there.

Fuckspot on the website adam4adam.com, listed in the "pro" section, offers hourly use of a 1 bedroom apartment in west Chelsea. Clean bedroom, bathroom, towels, condoms, privacy and a congenial host. Very well priced and well located. You don't have to deal with the "front desk". First you need to set up a free account on the website to contact the manager.

Liberty Inn in the Meatpacking at 10th Ave and 14th St.

Funny, I was also curious about hourly hotels in Manhattan, did some online research and came across Liberty Inn. Mostly positive reviews, it appears but any first hand experience? I was thinking of trying it out during my next romp, perhaps an overnight... The "Romantic Interlude" rooms have a 2-person jacuzzi and it's only $40 more LOL

It might be good to note that it comes with a jacuzzi, but no bathroom...

You can try the St Marks at Astor Place (it's about $60 for 2 hours). If you want clean and high end, the Hilton Hotel on 6th Avenue at 53rd has 'day rates' - you can stay until 06:00 p.m., depending on availability. Very discreet, you can book over the phone and check in at a kiosk. Just in case you need to 'rest' between lunch and shopping at Bergdorf's ...

Day Use Hotels

Another option would be to check this website that specializes in renting rooms at various mid to high-end hotels for day use.

There are currently 26 hotels in New York that are participating, and you can book through that website. Check the rates and hotels at the following link:

That surprises me. I guess I have a preconceived image of day-rate hotels that didn't include the Hilton. Is the idea that they are, ostensibly, renting it out for business meetings?

I know it well, because my office was next door for many years. The day rate at this Hilton depends on availability, and generally is 10:00 a.m. - 06:00 p.m. It is not 'by the hour' ... It is very discreet because you can check in at one of kiosks at the hotel. The lobby is always very busy, with comings and goings of many guests and visitors (it is used extensively as a convention center). I don't think that Hilton cares what you actually do in the room. You are only getting the room to rest up between shopping at Bergdorf's and going to dinner at Le Bernardin, right? Right.

Since you mentioned it, it is not unusual for high end hotels to rent out rooms during the day for business meetings. I have been to hedge fund conferences held at the Pierre and at the Peninsula. The sponsors had rented out several rooms to have their meetings in. The beds, however, were removed ...

There was an interesting article and a documentary about day use hotels.

High-end hotels won't put a sign in the lobby that they rent rooms "by the hour", because of "image" and "standing". These hotels don't want to turn their regular clientele off by advertising that they rent rooms to horny couples for a romp during the day. If you walk in the hotel lobby and inquire about it, you may be given a negative reply, that's why it's better to book through the website of Day Use hotels.

BaronArtz is right: hotels don't care of the "business meetings" you have in your room.

I just wanted to add my two cents. For the first time I went to Liberty Inn in NYC, 10th Avenue between 13th and 14th Street.

Very basic, small, bathroom with no shower, but quite clean and practical. Just remember to bring your ID, the check in process is very easy, 80$ for up to to hours and your "no host or no incall" problem is solved! :)
