I am willing to assume it was a human head rather than a horse's. However, I have thought that "organized crime" in one form or another was well entrenched in Mexico, sorry to say. Now if we could just disentangle the US version from the Mexican version, perhaps we could make some progress.

My attitudes have "evolved." I used to see it as a victimless crime, but no more. I have lost friends to drugs and see the damage it is doing to Mexico while so many folk think it is okay for them to partake. I do occasionally get medical marijuana, but I am probably their worst customer as they see me so rarely.

I was in Tijuana working last year for 3 weeks, and nothing happened to me. I had a great time (even if the city is quite ugly and I would never go there just to visit). The only time in my life when I was mugged happened in New York City. And I live there now.

This kind of generalized statements doesn't do good.

Totally Agree! IF your looking for them Drugs of any type can be bought in any Major City! Mexico is a Beautiful Country besides the fact it also has some Gorgeous Men!

Tijuana is now considered rather safe. Still ugly though. My friends and I did get robbed there- by two cops!

My friend went down there several years ago for the July 4th weekend. They found him stabbed 17 times in some back alley.

With all the beautiful places to go in this world, I am trying to imagine one reason to go to Tijuana.

Unless it's for work, I don't see any other reason. One of the ugliest cities I have ever been.
