I've never tried the baby wipes. I wipe clean with paper then use a wash cloth with soap and water then just toss the clothing in the washer with laundry

Baby wipes are actually quite refreshing, and I carry the travel size ones too. My 60 y.o ass always smells like a newborn baby bottom....

a bidet beats wipes, but of course a bit too much for USA sensibilities...

When we moved into our last house in Philadelphia, there was a bidet in the master bath, but we removed it because we thought it was a waste of space and water.
