IMO know one can tell you what safe play is. everyone is responsible for their own well being. someone else definition of safe play may not be mine and vice versa. you have to decide for yourself what's an acceptable risk & don't let others decide for you

I know this has been discussed before. I would like to hear the current thinking on Safe Play. I know BB is completely out. What about oral? Eating cum? Kissing? and other playful activities?

Kissing is a "natural" expression of passion for me, and Mandatory. I have NEVER been a proponent of combining Oral sex with condoms. Perhaps it is safer, although oral sex is relatively low risk for HIV, but not for other STD's and infections, I have taken my chances and thank GOD at 60 I am Free of those things, but did not escape Cancer, although I am a cancer survivor....Swallowing ? Well that like anything else is a personal choice. I prefer NOT to although I have done it with a longtime partner. Just dont like the taste.... Rimming ? not for everyone but definitely on the TOP of my list. Extreme cleanliness is key. You have to decide where your comfort level lies, and with any sexual partner also consider their wants, likes and dislikes. I am an advocate of trying different things, but also encourage not to let anyone force you into anything you arent comfortable with. YOU come first !

I started exploring sexual activity when I was a teen, literally a year or two before AIDS became a reality. I was never much interested in anal sex (tried bottoming a few times before "safe sex" became a reality, and didn't really care for it, and I can count on my fingers the number of times I've done it since, always protected), but have always been very very interested in oral, and in swallowing. To this day (about to turn 48 next month), I continue to swallow when I give head, and I have never had any sexually-related health issues. I know that this is far from an exact science, but I tend somehow to think that the majority of sexually transmitted AIDS cases have been due to unprotected anal sex, and though there may be a risk with oral, it doesn't seem nearly as risky. (Some of you may undoubtedly call me naive for that, but as I said, after many years of enjoying the taste of male sperm, lol, I'm still disease free.)

Ultimately I agree with josephga - you have to decide for yourself what seems risky and/or safe. And just be honest with your partners about what you will and won't do, and what you accept for yourself. (That is to say, if a potential partner turned me down for the very reason that I enjoyed swallowing, and he thought that might make me risky, I would respect that. I would also respect a guy who wouldn't want me to swallow HIS load because he was unsure of his own status, and wouldn't want me to risk it.)

Edward, thanks for readdressing this very important issue. I liked and appreciated the manner in which your fellow members here addressed your concern, for it is also mine.

I wrote a very popular escort last evening to address some of the issues raised in your query and truly appreciated receiving a very timely reply back from him regarding my

concerns. Again, thanks, man! -:) -:)
