Help needed with muscle service.com

Hey guys, I signed up for a yuku account and applied to a couple of the forums on muscleservice.com but it's been pending administrator approval for a while now (over a month). Any idea what I need to do to join? Is it exclusive? Anyone else having the same issue? I would really love to check out the site. Any help is appreciated! Thx!

I have had the exact same problem. Several times I signed up for the yuku account, but the pending admin approval never goes through. I actually have given up....

Hmmmm...odd indeed. Here I thought it was bc I didn't put "pretty please" in the comments section when I applied. Well, BVB, I won't lose sleep over it but maybe someone out there will be able to shed some light for us both...Thx anyway!

I recall applying and months later receiving approval. By that time, I had moved on.

For whatever reason we all seem to have had a problem signing on. After eventually getting signed on the site it is far from exclusive..so maybe someone has an idea around here. As I know there are a few here who contribute over there on a pretty steady basis... I do like the FREE Video links!

I signed up years ago before hey did the Yuku thing. Then they switched to the Yuku ID... but had absolutely no trouble getting the ID and signing in... as I recall it took a day to be approved. Still, I only have access to the "Muscle Logbook" and "Muscle Life and Lust" forums. For the other forums I get a message saying that I need to apply to the Administrator. I just applied to the "Muscle Weightroom". It will be interesting to see what happens...

 

However, I hardly visit there... unless the couple of friends who do visit on a regular basis give me a heads up about a particular someone or something that is being discussed. In any event, I do recognize some of the guys from here with similar screen names... and of course a few escorts as well who post there as well. It seems that some who post there don't visit here... but I guess they might be looking for a certain type of clientèle and they know what works for their particular business model.

I too signed up before Yuku entered the picture and it took about a day to get clearance. I usually only go to forums 1 & 4 but should check out the weight room again just to see if I still can. And yes, the free vid links are great!

 

Sorry some of you are having trouble getting in.

If you get a password for another yuku.com site that should work for MS also. I would think. Try joining another forum/site on yuku.com. It might be easier and faster. Just a thought. Hope it works.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried, but I have yet to find another site on yuku that requires an application approval similar to the individual muscleservice forums. No problems accessing others in the yukuverse. It'll be funny if/when I finally get the e-mail notification that I've been approved. In the meantime, I guess I'll just be moving on....

I'm in the exact same boat, and it's a bit frustrating, 'cause I'm in a renting kind of mood and I love me some muscle.

 

Sometimes when I'm researching a guy who isn't reviewed on Daddys, I'll see references on this forum to the muscleservice one, where there apparently is boatloads of great info on every bodybuilder under the sun. But because I haven't yet broken past its velvet ropes, I'm in the dark. Luckily, a few of my fellow posters here who also have accounts there have come to my rescue with tidbits of info. If you have a particular guy in mind, you could post a 411 request here with a special plea to those with dual access to report back on what the details are about him over there. In fact, I'll probably be doing that very thing soon, and I'll be happy to pay it forward if/when I get "approved."

I don't care anymore, Seriously....I have moved on. If they did approve me, I doubt that I would join. I am finding message forums in general a place where far too much attitude and bitchy comments are rampant....I will post here ocassionally, but for now, that is it.

I joined back in 2006 before YuKu as well and had no issues with the transition when it came. However, if you think this place can get bitchy, MS can have fights that make this place look like a church social. They get really wild at times.

There is a great yuku board called worldofmen. You need administrator approval for the nude board and the "action" board, but not for the regular board. Sometimes the postings are really great, and now and then someone posts a link to a blog. There are so many hot blogs out there!!

I'm glad you posted this information because it made me think about my membership. I signed up years ago when they still had the contest for the guy of the day (week, month??) before the transition to Yuku. Like you, my original ID works on the boards I could access prior to the transition. It was my request to access additional message boards that took months to obtain. I tried the membership and it does not work on the ones I could not access pre-Yuku. Perhaps they should change the name of the service to "Yuck-o."

I think it's the viscous steriods that cause all the problems over there. But I just go to watch the videos and read the occasional nonsense (well, really, that's just about a full-time job)

been lucky to be a member of both this and MSS for several years.....these two are, by far, the two escort/muscle/gay boards I visit the most and there's a distinct feel to each....Daddy's seems more friendly, casual, low-key, somehow easier and more approachable.....MSS seems more serious, hardcore, almost more exclusive (obvious to some here, I guess!) because of the whole muscle fraternity thing.....over at MSS, they'll pooh-pooh some much-in-shape 6-0, 200 lb. dude as a "twink", sometimes.....but both are very busy forums and have a lot of great, back-and-forth discussion.....each has well-known controversial characters - it's almost like throwing a tomato at them on stage when they post.....

 

I don't take it seriously at all and avoid the drama.....but some of the other posters?...phew!!.....
