The Shah's of Sunset Men

While I shamefully admit to being a reality TV junkie, there are just too many shows out there to watch, so I pick my battles. While I have given up Jersey Shore to concentrate on the Real Houswives of Any-Where, I am hooked on the new show Shah's of Sunset, about wealthy Persian-americans in Calif.

 

While Reza, (the one who looks like an 80's porn star) is the only openly gay character, I somehow get a gay vibe from Sammy and hottie Mike, who are presented as Str8 horn-dogs..... Mike could surely be a successful escort....

 

The show is a cheesy hoot, the women are trainwrecks, the situations predictable, and all are pretentious snobs. But I cant stop watching.....

 

If you watch, let me know your feeling about Sammy and Mike.

saw this show just last night. was bored in 10 minutes. there's nothing more boring to me than watching new money in front of a camera crew.

I can only concentrate on 1 Reality Not really Reality Show. Therefore "Mob Wives" I find Entertaining!

I also find guilty pleasure in some reality shows---but I'm picky. Like and watch "Big Brother", "Survivor" and will tune in to a new show to test it out. Gave up on Jersey Shore after about three viewings the first year; never could get into "Real Housewives of anywhere", "Mobwives" "Basketball Wives" "Coco and Ice-T" have sat through several hours of "Millionaire Listing" and another realtor show in California whose name I have forgoten. Have not watched more than a few minutes of any Kardashian show---although my straight younger brother tunes in to "Keeping Up..." Watched the first hour of the "Shahs of Beverly Hills" if that is the correct title about the new Persian-American show and doubt if I'll watch any more--a little too derivative in all respects and although Mike is not hard to look at, he's a little too "Jersey Shore" for my taste, Reza seems to enjoy the camera too much and the women? Hard to watch and harder to listen to---I'm not watching any more.

On another note---On "Survivor" there is a model from the south---Jay-- who is very easy to watch---wish they would give him more camera time and concentrate less on gay Colton whose behaviour toward Bill was outrageous and made me angry. Producers of "Survivor" also have this annoying habit of blurring out bulges, baskets, etc of the better built guys (

The one non-Italian on the show! But I'm thinking there isn't to much drama left with these Girls? "Big Ange" is a Hoot with Huge Hooters I'm sure she makes great tips.. The Sons are kind of cute on this show....
