Atlantis Cruises

Has anyone any advice on the all-gay cruises offered by Atlantis? How are the facilities? Is it cliqueish? Are there hidden charges? Is the boat a dump? Can anyone sleep for all the partying?

I am thinking of booking one so I hope that there are some alumni of the cruises on board here.

Hey, Lucky, I was just about to ask the same questions about Atlantis!

 

Did you just receive a card from them advertising their latest (and largest) cruise?

 

I thought it was interesting that the ad came in the form of card like that (i.e. no plain paper wrapper )

I did receive a postcard from them. They have a lot of advertising in the gay rags.

However, I am so far totally UNIMPRESSED with them. I could not get through to an agent, even though I was "only" third in line. They encourage you to leave a message, but so far no one has called me.

All of this leads me to believe that the service offered on the cruise may be just as bad....

Well, they called back and were very nice. I would still like to hear any stories about the cruises they provide.....

Cruises may make you sick

 

Becareful though with all these cruiseships getting mysterious "sicknesses" it might not be worth it taking a chance.

 

I saw a tv news show that basically said that cruiseship are basically petriedishes on the water so its no wonder "strange bacteria" are arising.

 

Just a warning to be careful....

I went with Atlantis to Australia. I thought that they were top notch for any company, not just a gay company. I'm going on the Dawn Caribian cruise in January. The Dawn is brand new. It was just launched this December. I thopught the post card thing was wierd too.
