I've been a Fan of this guy for quite awhile now. He and Chris Evans being probably in the same Category Hunk/Acting wise. I guess whoever ultimately gets the best GIGS will have the longer Career.

Considering past SNL Host's I did think he did a pretty good job! Of course being extremely Photogenic in HD does help. ;)

He's easy on the eyes for sure. He looks really great from most camera angles but because of the shape of his body it will only take a few pounds to go from hunk to chunk, and I'm not sure his acting skill will carry a career once he's no longer the prettiest in the room. (I'd put Kellan Lutz in the same category.)

But I'll be happy to look while it lasts!

I thoroughly enjoyed last night's SNL. Channing Tatum certainly was the butt of Lorne Michaels' strip joke episode....but the guy seemed more than happy to play along and show plenty of flesh in almost every skit. His comedic timing wasn't bad at all either. My favorite sketch was his spot-on portrayal of semi-nude and stoned Matthew McConaughey complete with bongo drums! Funny stuff.

yeah, I think he pretty much can't act his way out of a wet paper bag. He must have the world's greatest agent or is great on the casting couch or something since he is in about 100 movies coming out this year.

Oops - it's been pulled for copyright violation already.

I think you can see this SNL Video on the SNL Site since it was pulled! ;) He will never be a Johnny Depp type Actor BUT I likes anyways!

As long as he doesn't do to many "Girlie Movie's" that is..

Chris Evans, in addition to his amazing body and gorgeous face, is a real actor. Tatum is just a former stripper. Nothing more. He couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. And his face is "squishy" looking. He ain't gonna age well.

He's going pretty well, IMHO, for someone rapidly approaching his 32nd birthday. Was he really a former stripper, or was that just made up for SNL? I thought that was a joke. If he did strip, was it mostly for men or women?

NBC seems to pull those things pretty quickly. It's a very stupid decision, IMHO, since I would think it would really boost viewership. I think it's far more likely that someone would view that and say "That was pretty funny; I should be watching SNL," than say "That was pretty funny. I don't think I'll be watching SNL."

If you have access to primetime on demand through your cable company, you can watch recent SNL (including Tatum's) there. Note that these do not show the musical performances.

Yes he was a former stripper before becomming an actor (generally for women much like a Chippendales) and the movie Magic Mike is loosely based on his story.

I don't think his acting is all that bad and I think he has a great face and body. He may not win an Oscar, but he can sleep over anytime he wants!

Mostly for women.
