Thank You Coop, I was just downright Lazy.

"The Artist" is gonna sweep most of the categories, and "The Descendants" will win the Screenplay category it's in. OS will win BSA, CP will win BSA, and Meryl will win BA. I guess David Furnish can turn her wrath on the Oscars now, since Elton didn't get a nod.

Well Elton may not have gotten a nod, but he still wears the Tiara, and since Madonna was a shut out, that saves us another rant from Furnish..

WE got a nod in Costume Design, so Miss Furnish is gonna throw a rant.

I'm probably not in the majority here, but I hope "The Help" wins the Oscar for Best Picture. It was one of the most moving and powerful movies I have seen in quite some time. Plus, I would like to see the movie's openly gay director, Tate Taylor, be recognized.

This year, I have only seen one of the movies listed here - "The Help", tho I hope to catch 2 or 3 more soon.

How many of you have seen the majority of films nominated?

I agree with you on The Help. My teens also went to see it twice and I have seen it more than once as well. I never read the criticism of it but the critics seem to dislike the movie. Also my friend who teaches inner city schools disliked it but I don't fully understand her reasoning. I thought it was well made and acted and was a history lesson for new generations.
