I loved the movie from the 80's. Leg lamp, Red Rider BB gun, Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra and all!

 

You probably are aware that Peter Billingsley (Ralphie), directed a Broadway musical revival of the movie over the past holiday season. There's a big difference between licking a flagpole and sucking a pole.

Still, I woudn;t want to get MY tongue frozen to that!

 

TNT used to play the movie all day, non-stop, on Christmas Day and I'd leave it on for at least half the time (much to the dismay of my family!)

 

The traveling stage production toured in this area aroudn CHristmas, but I was unable to make it.
