Well guys it's been nearly a year since I have written and for those that have an interest I apologize for the delay. As many of you know I became very ill with a rare muscle disease late last year. Needless to say the last 14 mos have been very rough. I have been unable to work and have had many physical trials but felt compelled to write in appreciation of those who helped me along.

The disease was in remission for about 4 mos but has returned unfortunately and despite this fact I am working hard at keeping spirits high. I have spent the last year concentrating on my health and have now finished my Master's degree after many years of procrastinating. I'm not sure if I'll be able to put my degree into action but it is personal triumph for me.

I have a few people to thank for making it through the tough times (although not over yet) you know who you are and everyday I think of you all. I have kept out of sight and without email because for many months my mental state was not the best. I have learned alot and still have more to learn. I have changed so much both in physical appearance and in spirit. Just wanted to let those that have an interest know that I am doing OK and have a new person in my life who is primarily responsible for taking care of me for the last 11 mos.

A note to everyone this season. Please don't forget what is really important in life: Family, Health and Friends. Everything else is secondary. Count your blessings, keep in touch with those that love you and tell them while you can how much you appreciate them.

Be well and to any and all of my "friends": THANK YOU, TRULY! JR

Jason -- I for one really appreciated hearing from you, but I'm so sorry that you aren't doing better. Congratulations on your Masters in any case. You've shown a great deal of courage and compassion throughout your ordeal, which just reminds me of how truly special you are. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Jason it is so nice to hear from you. I was never lucky enough to have met you but know some that have and still talk about how wonderful you are. If nothing else happens in your life know that you have touched many and I mean that in a spiritual way from the Heart. HUGS Chuck:P

Jason--

I too never met you as I started on this site shortly after your retirement. I must say, however, I can think of no other escort I've read about who touched the hearts of so many as you do. I am especially impressed that you've dealt with tragedy in such a positive way.

Rod Hagen often expresses the thought that young escorts face the danger of easy cash obscuring the realities of life. You certainly did not have that problem! To be able to both face terrible medical problems and still go on with your education and to find someone to share your life with are each remarkable accomplishments on their own--to have done all of them is especially noteworthy.

Best wishes to you--if you're ever in Los Angeles--I'd love to take you to lunch just to say in person thanks and God bless.

I can't tell all of you how much I needed to hear that!

I have turned my email back on (jasonreardone@aol.com) if anyone wishes they may contact me. thank you for the kind comments, I often wondered if anyone remembered me (teehee). I miss my life in LA and I mostly miss how beautiful I used to be. Although I never knew it at the time, I now appreciate that young hot thang I used to be, :)

Life goes on I suppose. I've learned to count my blessings, one being that most people with this disease don't live past 10 years old, so I feel lucky to have been here 3x's as long. Proof positive things like this can happen to anyone. I miss you guyz!!! JR

Hey Jason,

Nice to hear from you. Congrats on your Masters, that's great!

A few random comments.

One doesn't have to beautiful outside to be beautiful inside. The good looks that many people are blessed with frequently fade, but it's what's inside that really counts. You (Jason) are a warm, loving individual and can certainly be called beautiful inside, if not still out.

I was fortunate enough to meet Jason on his visit to NYC. As he was leaving that day, we just met for lunch. I met him at his hotel, we had a quick hug and kiss and rushed off to lunch. The time passed really fast and we had a terrific time together (I think..I know I did). As it got time for me to head to The Gaiety and Jason to head back to his hotel to get his bags, I went off to the men's room. When I got back, Jason had taken care of the check. It was so refreshing to have someone do that for me. I thought it was a really sweet gesture on his part.

Jason, hope things get better. Keep fighting.

Hugs,

NYO

Jason,

I'm so glad you checked in with us --I was concerned when your email went dead.

I'm happy to hear that things are going as well as they are... and for your personal achievements in the face of adversity. I hope your fortunes take a turn for the better.

Best wishes

TY

P.S. Are you still in Tampa?

thanks so much for you words, today is a tough one (I have many of them) but reading these really help. I hope everyone will continue appreciating what they have and if I'm able to facilitate that then all this will not have been for nothing.

I am hopeful that things will stabilize as they did for a few months earlier this year. I have come the realization that I will not survive this but until it overtakes me I hope to enjoy what I have and I'm glad that part of that is contiual friendship with you guyz.

lots of luv, JR
