An awesome appointment or why I love my "work" and why it's not easy to screen

OK so some of you have seen my other thread I posted about having a slow period filled mostly with bullshit, flakes, goose chases and outright harassment.

 

Well I'd like to mention an awesome appointment.

Got a call late last night for a last minute appointment. I didn't have much to go on, no way to be sure he was serious, and he even sounded a bit pushy and abrupt on the phone. Not good signs but ... nothing else came through that night, said he dug leather, I was horny, and frankly I found his accent sexy in spite of it sounding like he had been drinking.

 

Threw on some leather, run out the door and down the street toward the subway, luckily finding a cab first. But no answer to either his door or phone. Determined not to get upset I figured I'd take a long walk to the train further away and try calling again. He answered, apologized, sounded sweet, serious and sincere. Had fallen asleep but was now awake and at the door.

 

We had a very hot and satisfying session. I'm certain I'll be hearing from him again.

 

My point? Not entirely sure, but usually things work out and I just have to remember to not let a bad experience, doubts or worries keep me from the mostly good times with good people. Yet this is why it is hard to be too discriminating in the screening process. I suspect that a good number of my colleagues (or myself on a different night) would have refused or given up.

 

Though I hate a no show or unpleasant experience I must admit that the unknown and chance to improvise, think quick on my feet, switch gears or direction is in some sense part of the appeal.

 

Overall I do love my playful profession and I love you guys for letting me vent and babble.

You are not babbling...infact your post is an example of what should be going on here....

As a client I have faced alot of the fustrations you just mentioned and sometiems just want to give up...

But then I had an experience this past weekend that totally blew me away and found faith once again...

I did submit a review which I hope will be posted soon. I hesitated at first as I wanted to be honest and the escorts posted rate was $400.00 an hour.

I can only imagine the comments that will be made...lol..

Although I know not everyone can afford $400.00..and not sure I can either...but I took a chance and feel I got every dollars worth...

Anyways the point is...lets hear more posts about the good and not so much name calling and bickering...

Thanks for posting that Raul. In talking with a lot of my escorts, I really can't fathom how you all put up with some of the shit that comes from clients. I'm just glad, for my sake, that you do.

There seems to be a certain scorn for escorts who charge $300/hour and up. In this regard, it's one of the times I am so very happy to be gay. Straight guys usually pay $500 for escorts of comparable quality, and that almost always means no kissing. For the full GFE (6 hour date, kissing included), I've heard $5K is the going rate. That sounds awfully high, but regardless of the actual amount, it's a helluva lot higher for straight guys.

 

Can I afford a $400/hour escort? HELL no!!! Would I occasionally hire that $400 escort if he made my toes curl and my head swirl? Yes, as often as I could afford it, even if I couldn't really afford it in the first place. So I'm really looking forward to your review, as I say a little prayer that this potential toe-curler is on the other side of the continent.

Agree with you 100 percent. I think in life we overpay for a lot of items and services and never really get what we pay for. So when we walk away from a great encounter the money becomes secondary to the experience we will not forget.

As my review is my first so I am not sure it will be mind blowing...lol....but in time hopefully I will get the swing of it....Since reviews seem to take a while I will share that the escorts name here is Mike#6 located in NYC.

I hope others will have the same great experience I had.
