The Sands of Time

Recently I was looking over some old postings on Daddy's. It still amazes me how people have a hard time getting along at times. I liken this board a lot to a political arena where everybody is a candidate and they are very particular about what words they say and who they're said to. It is not necessarily a board for true emotions per se because so many things can go wrong. Many of my posts are written with a certain "tongue in cheek" humor to make people laugh and to avoid talking about serious things on the board.

 

I find it interesting to see all the people that come and go. Five years ago, different people were fighting with another set of people and in another five years, it will be a whole new set of people. I know that it's impossible for us to all get along all the time and that's not the point. It's just amazing to go back and see what goes on over the years, who's in front--who's in back, what happened, who doesn't get along with who and who gets along now, who did the most business, and who did the most good for other people (client or otherwise)?. As always, I believe that the escorts who hone their business and work the hardest for their customers will always prevail in the long run.

 

I would like to see where we will all be in 5 years (or 10 years!) and if we've all grown any from this. I have tried to live my life being as nice as I can to everybody that I meet (but it doesn't always work). When people look back on the board in future years, hopefully we'll be able to say that we were all proud of our participation.
