Al Davis of the OAK Raiders dies

Does anyone on this board care or wish to acknowledge his passing?

 

He certainly was a rebel. I would like to think that most of the posters herein have some connection to being a "rebel" in one way or another. Don't we?

 

He didn't re-invent the wheel or make a better cell phone but he always did it "his way" more or less.

 

Just a personal view point.

Many in Oakland blame his meddling for the Raiders' lack of success in recent years. It will be interesting to see if they were right.
