From "maybe okay-looking" to "much cuter" in just one move

I remember seeing a young man with a friend get on the bus, and with him was a little girl with a little toy cat in her hand. She sat next to him while the young man talked with his friend.

 

At one point he turned to the little girl and spoke to her for a moment, and she picked up the the toy cat and pointed its face in his direction. He smiled and meowed at her in a way that made her smile so big.

 

Then a moment later when he got off the bus with her, he held her hand to help her down the stairs.

 

THAT young man went from kinda-cute to WAY-BEYOND cute just by being nice to the little girl!

Throws away a cigarette

I remember one guy in a store who had hair down past the middle of his back. I thought it looked like Spanish Moss and was icky. I thought it just highlighted other features on him that didn't flatter him, and so I barely gave him a second glance.

 

Then one day I walked in and he had a short, conventional haircut. I just about melted because I instantly thought he has just the cutest thing ever.

Same experience here. Guy who works in local bookstore with horrible, raged gotee. Never paid him too much attention. One day I came in and he has had it shaved off to reveal an absolutely stunning face.

Once there was a temp working in our office who was an actor/singer, a straight guy. Let's call him "Doug".

 

One day I made a joke about how if a co-worker didn't do something-or-other, I would start singing the overture to "Gypsy". She dared me to.

 

I couldn't remember a single note. For some reason we both turned toward Doug.

 

He immediately started singing the music to "Everything's Coming Up Roses", complete with jazz hands.

 

I thought him just-too-adorable from that moment on.
