Mikey, I don't see this in my area (NC). Escort ads in the CL personal section in my area get flagged & deleted VERY quickly. And there's not THAT much action in the Therapeutic Services section.

What would you pay to spend time with somebody who works that hard for your happiness? I'm not talking about somebody who is just there to make you happy sexually. I'm talking about somebody who really tries to understand and provide what you're looking for. What would you pay? Personally if they want to charge me double the fee then that's fine. Most will charge what they need to because of the dedication that they have to that client's encounter.

 

Is it always about the dollars? I think it's about when I sit across from somebody and they tell me a new idea I've never heard; it's about when somebody makes me laugh by doing something; or it's about making you feel good because somebody held your hand and smiled...it's about being genuine and providing that to the client.

 

People will charge what they wish to charge, clients will pay what they want to pay for the level of service that they want. Assuming that escort provides that level of service then the client will come back (oh trust me, they WILL come back!) and others will call them as well. Quality and consistency of service will always provide repeat customers .

 

The experiences that I've had have ranged all over the map but when you find a few that you click with, you will gladly work hard (and pay) to have that feeling for one brief moment again. Truly can you put a price tag on that feeling?

What i find now is that everyone is available. So if you troll manhunt and gaydar etc and you like someone who is not a professional if you grease the wheel for $100 you usually get a positive response. I think current escorts are losing out to non escorts. There is less judgement about the profession and mix this with the hard times and you find many new boys a calling and my rate of how good or bad they are is truly about the same as the escort line up which is always a mixed bag anyway. Despite the scoffing of the bitchy bitter naysayers (with an obvious axe to grind), CL pay-to-play is still going very strong, BP is taking up much of the slack and I find more success than I can handle by placing "Gen Dad seeks..." type ads. If your proteges can set their rates to a reasonable level they're going to find a huge market of clients who are hungry for their company and are quite willing to offer their hard-earned dollars for the rewarding experience of connecting with a sexy human being who's willing and eager to fulfill their desires and fantasies.

 

The elitist types on this forum seem convinced that this talent is rare and concentrated in the 12 or so "superstar" escorts discussed ad nauseum on these pages. I find to the contrary that there are quite a few eager sexy guys willing to learn and to take direction from the client to increase and refine their skills. If the communication channels are open, a great experience can be had from the non pros, and it only gets better with multiple sessions, which are (surprise!) affordable, so the good times can keep on rollin' and the "virtual boyfriend" goal can be a reality.

Both of the men I hired off of Craigslist a couple years ago (before I discovered Daddys Reviews) turned out to be undesirable, immature flakes. Over the past five years since I started hiring men, I've heard of only two incidents where escorts and/or clients were arrested in vice stings conducted by Dallas police...and in both cases the sting involved ads posted on Craigslist.
