Veering away from my usual sarcasm, I wish all M-F Brothers and non-Brothers well as Hurricane Irene gathers strength to possible Category 4 this evening. You just had a earthquake, now Irene lurks.

Needless to say Weather has been and will be happening as long as Earth is a Planet!

The only good news about this storm track is that as the storm moves to the north it will encounter ever cooler water, losing power along the way. I still wouldn't want to be in the path. It's still going to deliver a wallop in rainfall alone.

 

Gov. Christie of New Jersey just last week applied for federal disaster funds due to floods from an already too-wet season. Here comes more rain!
