Todays man has a sartorial buffet of looks to choose from, unlike the Olden days when the look was drab slacks and a button down shirt....

As well todays man works hard on his body and loves to show it off..

Do clothes MAKE the man for you ? And is there a particular look that turns your head (in a GOOD way) ????

For me, a pair of low slung, tight fitting jeans with bulge showing, form fitting shirt, (either T or other) and a paid of work or combat boots is preferred and will turn my head EVERY time, even if its on a guy that isnt "facially" attractive to me....

Surprisingly enuf, this summer I started noticing guys in this look BUT with flip-flops. Never had a foot fetish but I find the look really sexy....

What look floats your boat ??? (its a given that most of us prefer our men "sans" clothing).. Unfortunately, we cant walk around NUDE. (or maybe its really a good thing ? LOL)

Clothes DO make the man!! True story: I was shopping for a replacement automobile and went into a "swank" imported car dealership in the upscale area of Houston. I was wearing my Saturday scruffies (had just "done" breakfast with friends and was overly casual). I saw an automobile that I liked and was approached by a salesman. He was nice enough, but it was obvious that he was only being nice and was somewhat perfunctory. He gave me the info on the car, a short test drive, and that was it. The following Monday, I returned to the dealership as I had decided to purchase the car. I was dressed in an expensive suit, shirt, tie, and shoes with good jewelry (nothing flashy and no monograms on the cuffs). I got the same salesman (who was both cute and "on our team"). He very obviously did not recognize me. We played the game of me buying the car (which I did buy that evening) and he quoted me a price that was $2,500.00 less than the one he quoted to me on Saturday (car dealers are, for the most part, closed in Texas on Sundays due to our "blue laws"). This represented a significant savings. When I picked up the car the next day after it has gone through the make-ready, I took my salesman to lunch and told him that I was the customer that he had seen on Saturday and quoted a different (and higher) price than the one he quoted to me on Monday evening. He was somewhat taken aback and a little embarrassed. Just goes to show: if you are going to play the game, you should be dressed to play the game (plus about ten levels above that). It is always better to be over-dressed than to be under-dressed (although I do save the white-tie-and-tails for truly formal affairs).

Interesting story, and thank you Electra. The same would hold true when seeing Realtors, etc. People DO judge you by how you look....

Now, get to the juicy stuff as this post was intended; what look on a guy do you find SEXY, that would make your head spin around like the Exorcist ?

I love a rugged casual look guy. Tasteful jeans fitting just right not too tight or too baggy, a pair of dressier slip on boots, and a white dress shirt tastefully parially unbuttoned and sleeves rolled up twice. I also like a vest added to this and or a European cut sport coat Too picky? Any portion may be removed.

One should ALWAYS dress for the occasion.

I am always amused when an escort, I’m seeing for the first time, asks me if there is anything special I would like him to wear. My answer is always the same. “If you don’t tell me what to wear I won’t tell you what to wear. I do, however, sometimes suggest that he choose whatever he thinks shows him off in the best possible way remembering that we will be having lunch or dinner in a nice restaurant. I have also been known to tell a new escort that I am far more interested him out of his clothing rather than in it. Yeah I have a tendency to be a fucking smart ass!!!!!

Well, if I/we/they are not dressed in tuxedoes, then I like whatever it is that the boys are wearing (most of the time) in the Daddy's Gallery photos that are posted each day. Speaking of "looks", has anyone ever seen (much less bought) some of the outfits that were shown in the International Male catalogs of the 1970's and onwards? I don't mean the bathing suits, thongs, T-backs, etc., but the other clothes. They had/have some pretty wild stuff and I have never, ever seen anyone wear it in public or in private (of course, things are a bit more conservative here in Texas and Houston--our boys have a sense of style that runs from overly casual to overly formal and back again--depending upon the weather and the event. Speaking of weather, we are now at 18+ days of 100 degree heat and I am *ucking tired of it!!!!!
