Hey Guys: as a relative "newbie" to this site and an "escort virgin" I have been very grateful to Hooboy and his crew for developing and supporting this site. Have also been very grateful to the "regulars" who frequently provide commentary and write up escort and massage therapist reviews.

 

I am hoping to do something about that problem of "virginity" later this month and have been reading a great number of reviews to help find the right choice for me. Well, I have made the choice and I will soon find out if it was the right one for me. Yes, I will write up a review (payback is only fair) and I hope I can also join the chorus and say "yes, his photos don't do him any justice. . . he was much better looking in person!" :9

 

One of the things that surprised me while reading reviews were the number of comments by clients of escorts whose cell phone would be ringing in the middle of their session and even worse when the escort takes the message. In one review the escort answered three or four cell calls. I suppose I could imagine something more annoying but that sure would frost me!. . . alot!! Shouldn't escorts turn off their

cell phones automatically when with a client. Sound like common courtesy to me. Would I be out of line to ask the escort to turn off his cell phone during our session?

I don't think so. I agree its ONLY common courtesy and that works both way cut yours off also. ;-)

Most escorts will honor a polite request to turn off their cell phone. If it's *really* important to you, a polite statement before the encounter is in order. If he has a problem honoring your request, you know you should move on to someone else.

 

I did have one guy, during an extended appointment, politely ask if he could respond to pages in case any were interested in an appointment the next day. He sat on my lap, playing with me, the whole time. It was sort of a hoot. As he was describing himself to the prosepective client, I was taking physical inventory of each body part he described. }>

 

Of course, if he'd wanted to talk to aunt Martha about her operation I might have been less enthused. And if it had happened during a shorter encounter, I probably would have been outright miffed.

 

You just need to communicate this to your escort, preferably in advance so that he knows he'll be out of touch during the time he's with you.

Actually, no, the client shouldn't have to turn his cell phone off. He's the client, not the Escort or service provider. While it would be nice, I woudn't find it rude. It's the escort who is being paid to give the client his undivided attention, not the other way around.:*

Two thoughts. First, you're not out of line for asking the escort to turn off the phone - or at least turn the ringer off. Second, most escorts simply forget to turn the damn thing off. (How many reading this forget to turn their phones off before a movie or church) Unfortunately, I must admit, that my phone has gone off during an appointment. If its at a convenient time, I'll turn the phone off immediately (I'll never answer it). But if I forget to turn it off and I'm in the middle of a session, I don't want to ruin the moment by getting up and turning the phone off - so I jut apologize and ignore it and turn it off at the next possible moment. My recommendation is to ask the escort before the session starts to turn it off. And if you have a cell phone, turn it off as well if you can.

Your so right....I wish that I was reminded to turn mine off. I usually do....and it is always on and ringing like Grand Central fucking station when your with a client that hates it the most....thats when I just want to impale myself with the phone. And, the sad thing for me..it never was a client....I have a huge family...and it was always a niece, brother, uncle etc....

 

I promise the Hooboy Gods I will try to remember to turn it off...

The ones I have been with were all very professional about the phone it think if it happened it was because they had forgotten on extended trips or days I would always say check your phone and or you email if you want but be ready when we are having fun. I think its mostly a forgetful thing or an overbooking thing. I dont normally do those hour things I just cant get into that sorry HUGS Chuck

Cell Phones... You can run, but you can't hide.

 

In ANY situation, having a cell phone go off is just plain rude. The last incident that comes to mind was opening night of 'Sweet Smell of Success' in NYC~ Jon Lithgow basically stopped the show while the idiotic patron actually TOOK THE CALL! After a second and the blunt realization that all eyes were on him, the guy sheepishly put away his phone and Lithgow asked in a very straight-foward manner~ 'Are you through now?'

 

Needless to say, it turned out halarious and diffused the anger felt around him...

 

A few times, i've made the mistake of accidentally not turning off the ringer on my tele and it's been embarassing. It ruins the mood and the continuity of an evening, especially if the escort recieves more than one call. I've met some escorts who don't ever turn off their ringer/phone when with a client... and some who even will discuss other business in front of their current client.

 

Tacky, yes.

 

I think at one time or another, it's all happened to us. It's just a matter of learning from the mistake and doing a mental checklist before you get out of your vehicle to meet with someone.

I totally agree that escorts should turn off their cell phones before an appointment. In August I hired a well-known escort and in the middle of our session, his cell phone went off. He apologized saying that he had forgotten it, but it still ruined the mood, especially when he checked to see who it was and said, "Oh, probably just another crank call."

I think there should be a 15 minute penalty (for delay of the game) for escorts whose cell phones go off during a session. The cell phone ringing reminds me that this guy's heart isn't into what he is doing, as he jumps to see who his next client may be. It ruins part of the magic for me. (It did that night). In fact it was one more reason I have decided to give up hiring for a while. (A previous thread)

When I have had escorts in my home, I always remove the phone from the room and have my answering machine on, so that there is no need on my part to interrupt our discussions of foreign policy or whatever else we might be doing!
