A proposal to petition Daddy?

Dear Gentlemen,

 

In Justaguy's (JAG's) absence, I recently posted Sundae Sons in The Gallery. It took me over 2 hours just to create a small post of half-a-dozen images. I had to decide on a category, find the pictures, resize them, upload to an image server, create the post, etc. etc.

 

This brought home to me the immense amount of time-and-effort that JAG makes in regularly posting to The Gallery and how much pleasure his threads give me and add to my experience of the Board. I also realised how easily I'd been taking them for granted. :o

 

I would therefore like to propose petitioning Daddy to grant JAG a new title, as a very small token of appreciation. It initially occurred to me to suggest Knight of the Garter, but that probably only has any meaning to us Brits. So, I was wondering how Members would feel about Emperor? I'll confess I thought that might be an appropriate tribute, recalling the nakedness in The Emperor's New Clothes and the nature of JAG's posts!

 

Would anyone care to second such a proposal? If so, and other Honourable Members are willing to lend their support by posting here, I'll be more than happy to draw up an official petition and PM it to Daddy.

Aw, Coop, mate, thanks for taking time out to offer advice. I have tried imageshack before, unfortunately in the past their iOS client has been decidedly flaky, which is why I've stuck with tumblr, as the tumblr gear app is pretty stable. I'll certainly revisit and also take a look at mediafire.

I've been using imageshack.us for a few years. One remark regarding the site though: imageshack doesn't allow any x-rated pictures uploaded as the ones JAG posts here as "dessert". If you do upload such pics the moderators will remove them promptly. Unlike imageshack, tumblr will be happy to host them for you free of charge. Both sites require basic registration: creating an username, password and email confirmation.

For some time, I posted ics on a regular basis and stopped because there was in my mind no need for additional posts to JAgs daily offerings. We also forget EXPAT, KenK, and JackTwist to anme a few.

 

Admittedly, the volume JAG puts out is indeed prolific.....I'm sure JAG is not posting pics in the hopes of becoming emperor.

Honestly the pictures do not mean much to me, but everyone has their own perspective. I had the same though as you however, that you post pictures all the time and I am sure that you devote quite a bit of time and effort in doing so as well as JackTwist,
