Agencies - Chelsea

I was wondering ifanyone knows how various agencies operate. With Campus, they always seem to call the guys and then send them out, and I think they give them one call a day. At Maximum and A-list, I get the same impression. Everytime I call Chelsea, I get the impresion that the guys are "on call" waiting around in a room to be sent out any number of times. Am I wrong?

A few times I have gone to an agency headquarters and noticed a couple of guys just hanging around, apparently waiting to be given an assignment, but I suspect it was because they were new or had nothing better to do. I think most experienced escorts are "on call" like a doctor, available to be summoned by beeper or phone from home, the gym, etc. The traditional image of the whorehouse, with prostitutes lying around waiting for customers, is more appropriate for the European "house of boys", such as Why Not in Amsterdam, where the boys are chosen for sex on site.

I am sure most NY agencies work the same, some boys hanging around(for interviewing or payment, etc)and most on call. Very unproductive to keep them waiting in a room--my guess is its basically pot luck as to quality. Though, after considerable experience, I find Chelsea Guys has the most consistent hot guys(as well as a few porn stars who are actually accessible). I also find they are the most professional and the only ones open 24/7 for those desperate cravings.I now stick with them and my overall escort experience is about as good as it has ever been(except,of course, for those few golden years when Rounds was hopping)

I find that the price/quality ratio has me sticking to Rentboy these days, but I think Campus is the best in quality, but that just may be a different market. More to the point, the service at Campus is the best.

 

Everytime, I call Chelsea, they seem to have trouble finding the guy I want. "He has not come in yet. Call in half an hour." Then I keep calling and the guys not there. That has never happened to me at Campus. As for Maximum, I have found that because they don't show faces, I am often disapointed at the door.

 

And my first and most recent experience with A-List is not much better. The first time, I reserved a guy for the following day, then the next day when I callled they bumped me for a "regular". Last time, the guy came over, and then said "it's not going to work". Apparently, he was sick, I was later told. I have never had that happen before.

 

In addition, A-List and Chelsea both seem to keep up pic of guys who don't work there any more. When I call, they sorry, I have not taken down the pics yet, or something else lame.
