Indy 500 Qualifications

Today I've had qualifications for the Indy 500 on the television in the background as I've been doing some of my weekend chores. Occasionally I've heard the announcer state that "he is bottoming going into turn 1" and my imagination runs wild. (In auto racing, this is the term when a car's underbody makes contact with the track. Usually sparks fly.)
