Even if you hate fashion this is the most amazing show. The clothes are showcased in several different galleries, each with music, sound effects (howling wolves, etc) films, theatrical lighting and holograms. It's part fun house, part S&M dungeon and all very over the top. It's very crowded and hard to take it all in in one viewing. Not to be missed. In the gallery next door are the drawings of Richard Serra. All black and white in white galleries. As minimalist as the Alexander McQueen show is sensory overload. The two shows are a perfect compliment to each other. The Serra show had hardly any people in it so it was very calming after Savage Beauty. I walked through both shows twice and will go back several more times and bring friends.
