Nowadays more and more escort sites add video as a way escort to express themselves more fully than traditional ad page.

My question is to escorts and customers both.

How does this work for you?

I think they're a wonderful way that somebody can use to market themselves. If I was able to hear somebody's sexy voice or watch them show off then it makes me all that more anxious to really hire them. It is yet another way people can stand out

 

although as a general tip, don't put commercials in video ads because clients dont like to hear about the nearest appliance store sale when they're browsing escort videos. that's a definite mood-killer.

Definitely a useful Marketing Tool for those "Working Guys" who use their own Pix's and donot mind showing their Faces for Posterity on the Internet!

 

The downside would be for guys who either donot Photo well or just don't have the "Personality" called for in Videos.

If it is done well, I think it's a great idea. Personally I like the ones where the escort is being interviewed and just talking about themselves. Two jump out at me immediately for giving me a great idea as to the type of person the guy is. The videos for Ace and Tyger on Rentmen were wonderful and gave someone a great idea of who these 2 are. The only drawback is that in person, both are even more wonderful than even these great videos show.

 

Personally, I don't need to, nor want to, see the guy jerking off or anything like that. I want to get to know them. And just talking to the camera about themselves is a great way for me to find out.

More often than not, watching an escort's video ad/interview has discouraged me from hiring him rather than compelling me to hire. Perhaps I'm the only one who has experienced this,but I've been very interested in more than one provider and then found myself turned-off by his appearance, mannerisms communication style and/or personality displayed during his video interview on rentmen.com. Imho, despite good intentions on the videographer's part, these videos don't always cast a favorable light on the escort.

I agree with you guys. I will not put myself in video jerking off or related activity. My opinion - the best escort video is a shot that show more of escort personality, thinking and talking about life, fun etc.

I think it is exactly that: an opportunity for clients to not just see what a potential hire looks like, but what type of personality he has, the type of presence he is, etc. I believe this is a tool which would certainly be appreciated by potential clients.

It's different strokes for different folks, people. I've seen both: some would put a suggestive JO or even more explicit videos, whereas others prefer an "interview" type e.g. Rentmen videos. It depends what type of clients you're trying to attract.

 

PS: Personality is so complex that is difficult to come through in a short video.
