I will NEVER, EVER do this again!

I swear that I will never hire a masseur based on his pictures and what he promises in his ad. I had seen this ad for Rocco on M4M and Masseurfinder, and decided that I would get a massage from him while he's in NY for the week.

http://www.masseurfinder.com/members/exoticsoldier.shtml

If ever a massage was a rub and a tug, this was it. This was as sensual (never mind erotic!) as watching grass grow.

For all the sensuality and eroticism, he might just have well been wearing a tank top and shorts, and I might as well have been draped with a towel between my knees and my waist. Except, of course, for the obligatory and perfunctory "happy ending." (Big deal.) I think that, judging from his hot photos, and the content of the ad, that a client might expect something more than what I got. And he was very affable and pleasant -- he wasn't having a bad day at all. This is how he gives a massage.

I had e-mailed him yesterday, telling him what I liked and expected, and he replied, "sounds good," or "sure," or something like that.

I didn't complain or imply that I was disappointed. What good would that do? I just put the money on the bed, said, "Have a nice flight home," and left. Before I left, he asked me, just to be pleasant and to make small talk, what I was planning for the evening. I felt like saying, "After all this excitement, I dont think I could stand any more violent exertion," but I just said, "I'll be staying home."

I'll get over this by the morning; thanks for letting me vent.

Last week, we had been posting comments here about this Ukranian hottie, Pavel, in NY, and wondering who would be first to "jump on the grenade." Well, let me tell ya, guys, it won't be me.

i never look at the pictures period. if they arnt certified state licensed and cant prove both i dont book no exceptions. That guys asking 150.00 an hour with zero real training no way. iv noticed its becoming the norm that those with zero training are commanding top dollar

Sorry to hear that beethoven. You are right - taking chances can be a gamble....... but sometimes it can be rewarding. Unfortunately, masseur reviews are not as frequent as escort reviews - and I can't trust reviews on the same site where the escort advertise.

So are all those reviews on his site total fakes then I wonder? I just reviewed Armani in NYC, had a wonderful time and posted a reviews-I assure you that one at least is genuine? Am sorry for Beethoven (even if Fidelio is one of my least favourite operas, lol) in that I took a chance on Armani and it proved worth it-also based on Roccos reviews I would probably have chanced him too, so thanks for the warning and sorry it had to be you! Interestingly, I tried to past a negative review about an awful experience I had with another NY masseur and the review has not been posted-so maybe they only post good ones?

massagem4m does allow negative reviews and they are there, but, in order to see them, you have to subscribe to the member-only features, which cost $5.95/month.

Oh?! I didn't know this little nugget of fact. But can they be deleted after a certain time?

My experience is that massageM4M is a trap for money.

Generally check in there to look over the goods, and then move on to masseurfinder for more accurate info. Granted the fomer has more guys but the latter does not hit me for a donation for a photo or the ablity to read a critique.

massage m4m can be a big money trap. charges to view adult photos, charges to look at additional reviews. the preferred masseur tag isn't true. masseurs pay money to have that tag they haven't been preferred by anyone. And their customer service sucks iv contacted them twice by phone to reactivate my ad and they still haven't returned my calls

Gotta trust a little as I have taken the plunge here to hire Pavel in NYC for a session on Thursday. He did respond to my first inquiry - but to my follow-up... so far, nothing, but it is still early.

You make a good point. What is with these guys who dont respond back? How unprofessional is that? I have contacted a number of masseurs both by email AND phone..nothing. I have a test. If I email a guy and get no response, i will then call(I know many prefer a phone call anyway)and he still does not respond back. I cross him off my list..for GOOD! As far as the M4M Massage site, I never trusted that site because all of the reviews are postive. ALL of them. That should tell you something right there about how authentic they really are.

thats the number 1 thing i hear from clients they called someone and the call was never returned or email returned. i return calls in between clients. unless its a call after 9pm at night. I personal put phone calls above emails. say you email me and ask if i can do a massage at say 2pm. i say yes call me back to confirm and make sure your numbers unblocked i hit send and 5 minutes later someone calls asking for a 2pm that person on the phones getting it. i have no way of knowing when the guy who sent the email might check his email. he could have emailed 5 other guys asking for 2pm or might be one of those flakes that has a problem with you knowing his phone number..

Sorry this happened to you Beethoven. Reading the ad I would have gone for it too. I don't trust any of the reviews on those sites. I think they write them themselves under another srteen name. They are too well worded and elusive as to what they really do.

masseur finders policy is you can delete 1 negative review every 90 or so days. as far as i know massage m4m doesn't post negative reviews. most likely out of fear masseurs would cancel their ads

Thanks for this clarification. I've posted two negative reviews at both of the aforementioned sites. Neither appeared. In your comments you cleared this for me although I did write to http://www.massagem4m.com and got a salient response as to why my not so positive review did not appear. The webmaster's words were similar to what you cited, Jospehga. Thanks!

part of its also to protect us from lies. I had 21 positive reviews under sensual massage on masseur finder. I had 14 positive reviews under therapeutic on masseur finder. one day i get an email from the owner of masseur finder by the way who also is a massage therapist out of Texas. It was the copy of a negative review not yet posted. it was from a guy that claimed to had been to me 4 times. And he hated it all 4 times. red flag if you go to someone once and hate it why go back 3 more times. the real truth was this guy came to me twice and on the second appointment he asked for escort services which i do not offer. Not only that he wanted bareback escort services. I told him it was best we dont see each other again. so he thought he would show me with that review. I told the owner and that review was never posted. if it had been damn str8 i would have yanked my advertising from them..
