I am developing a totally new attitude on and view of the escorting profession in 2,011. Those of you who read my posts know that I am a big believer in a local market. i have built several very successful businesses in several different cities emphasing LOCALS over TOURISTS and VISITORS. REGULARS and REPEATS have been my mantra forever. I used to travel alot and do many overnights but was never a fan of, "TOURING." My recent tour to Atlanta has changed my mind. I thought I was set in my ways and stubborn but, believe it or not, I have seen the light. I truly enjoyed the experience and the new clients brought out my, "A," game. It was exciting and thrilling and very profitable. I guess it is hard for a guy to admit when he is wrong about something and to actually admit that his tried and true proven business model may not be the best. These super-hot 20 something escorts who tour may be on to something really big. Change for me is hard to accept and comes very slowy. I mean I have only been TEXTING for 2 years! I am done with this thread for now but I will be on the road back to Atlanta then to HOUSTON then when it warms up to Washington, Phillie and NYC. can't wait to meet so many of you! Not abandoning New Orleans - it is still home- and Mardi Gras is coming BUT MIKEY is COMING SOON TO A CITY NEAR YOU! http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1 -ATLANTA feb 9-12 HOUSTOn FEb 15-21st nola for both weeks of Mardi Gras!!

Hey Decatur. there will be many visits and I can't wait to play with you! Brooklyn and Greatness- thanks. Date change for Atlanta: now Feb 7th-12th- Houston Feb15th-21st. Everyone remember that we have two great weeks of Mardi Gras this year in Nola from Feb 24th- march 8th. If you have never been to Mardi Gras I encourage you to try it at least once. If you have done it then try a post-Katrina Mardi Gras because it is a different animal. Hope everyone has a great week- Mikey

Hey Mikey! Glad you found success in the ATL. Good for you! This city is "iffy" for both local and traveling escorts turning a profit here. At least that's my observation for the past 11 years.

Hey jawjateck. what most of my atl. clients told me on the last trip was that they were just looking for someone to be NICE to them and drop the attitude. I'll be honest with you: I have never met so many really nice and cool clients ever in one city. Also: the demand: i had several big cancellations last minute but there was always several more guys who would call so I was always busy. I think alot of traveling escorts should think about slowing down, breathing, relaxing and see one client at a time instead of being double-booked.I am not at all being critical of other escorts just stating what I know the clients like. Clients hate clockwatchers and I find that Georgia men want to be treated like human beings. They like the boyfriend experience. Mikey

Iv heard negative from both sides when it comes to Atlanta. I had a guy call me once to book a massage he told me on the phone that he weighed close too 400lbs would I take him. answer yes. when he showed up he told me he called everyone on massage m4m and i was the only one that said yes. Had an black guy tell me that he contacted 3 masseurs and they asked for a pic. he told me he didnt book with them. he wasn't showing a pic when paying for a service and i agree. however there are sketchy clients too. claiming they wanted a therapeutic massage when really wanting a sensual one. or a escort which i didn't offer. Iv talked with a couple of local escorts that told me clients would book for a session then try to turn it around and ask for a massage at a lower rate which they didn't offer. I had a few clients that thought a 75.00 hr massage should buy them full services wanting everything for nothing type attitude. or call book a session say they can be there in 15 minutes to never show up at all

I told you...once you start touring ;)

But again, I can't stress this enough. Just because someone says they do well in 1 place does not mean everyone will. This is just for newbies reading this thinking..."wow, Atlanta, I wanna go".

As I mentioned elsewhere, that'd be a place I'd have to be pre-paid and pre-booked to go to again. Call me a renegade of the south I guess...

As a tip, one thing I've learned from having been touring non-stop for the past 6 months straight, is never go anywhere new, or further than 2-4 hours without something solid and confirmed. Last year I was so eager to go to Vegas that I forgot all about that and drove out there anyway. Once I got there it hit me that I shouldn't of went blindly and turned around the very next day. It's really no point in paying for hotels if no one is lined up unless you're just going for vacation. Slot machines was not my idea of a vacation. Thats why I so much prefer driving than flying so I can change my mind on a whim if need be. Of course, there's been times I've been able to schedule within hours, sometimes even minutes of arriving someplace with no pre-bookings. But I'm not that adventurous anymore.

For now though, no more touring. There's no place like home.

my atl. trip was 90% spur of the moment same day bookings and only 10% in advance. A city of 5,695,000 people can do that wheras maybe a Vegas and certainly a new orleans cannot. Your point is well taken Joey. Enjoy your rest. I am looking forward to some South Florida time in March. Time to get warm!

That was my experience too. 90 % of the massages I gave were always spur of the moment same day bookings. very few booked days in advance unless they were traveling to the area and wanted to make sure they had someone lined up. I heard from some clients that they had problems getting people to answer the phone or to return calls. I think most pick a couple of guys they like from the ads pickup the phone and book with who ever picks up the phone first or return their calls first. most wanting right then or same day appointments
