Of all the times to choose to vacation in Egypt! Chris just texted me to say he is fine -- but confined to his hotel (which he says is very 4-star and safe). He is taking lots of pics and really getting into watching history change before his very eyes. Still he says it will be several days before he can get a flight back to US. Will keep ya posted.

There is an East Coast trip in the near future for him (DC and NYC) -- and will let ya know the dates.

Yeah, Dave, having been in Egypt and knowing their "security issues" he should be very cautious and careful, circumspect and discreet. I am sure that after Obama's remarks last evening, the Egyptian Security services will be especially unfriendly towards Americans, and I have experienced that side of them as well... Hopeflly he has the phone of the American Embassy and Consul there attched to a speed dial on his phone... just in case until he is out of there.

I read where private aircraft are having no problems leaving Cairo. Why certain board members with aircraft connections are not willing to help Chris Rockaway is, well, ...typical.

Because they don't owe him anything. Entitlement isn't cute.

Guess what I meant to say was 'Far Rockaway' Rapaz.

Entitlement isn't cute, but two posters claim to fly their escorts around on private aircraft, why can't they offer to help a EID (escort in distress)?

Speaking of typical - so is your post! Your heartfelt concern is touching.
