Thanks for posting... I had seen reference to this in the major media as well. I just wish Elton would get back to his fitness program and lose some pounds... he is losing some of his innate charm with the extra weight, and it is not good for his health. David, on the other hand is just plane HOT and gets better with age. He should get Elton to work out with him. I am so happy for them, and what good parents they are likely to be if the kid can handle their travel schedule! Congratulations to them both.

I don't know about you, I still can see his innate charm. My standards are not that high for a guy. To me a guy doesn't have to be hot in his appearance. When a guy is caring and thoughtful then that is enough for me. One's appearance may fade but one's true heart never does. I think that's what counts in life and that is what we try to pass on to our children, something that lasts and valuable. IMHO. Hugs~~~

I made those comments with the greatest of love, respect and affection for Elton. Given what I know about obesity and even over-weight on the human body and its correlation to so many preventable diseases, I just yearn for guys and gals to deal with this issue. I am not without "sin"

in this regard either, and I know how difficult it is to lose the weight and get fit after years of neglect. However, I have "seen the light" and now work with a personal trainer 3x a week and do cardio 3x a week with one day off. I will never be like I was at 20 or 30, but I want to enjoy what years I have left, and I will enjoy them much more if I am fit and at a reasonable weight for my size. David is a great role model for Elton in this regard, and I still find Elton charming, an incredibly talented musician and composer, but I would like to see him live a long and even more fruitful life, especially now that he has a child to raise.

Gay, straight...doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't say 'narcissistic freak' but in my mind there's a problem. I wonder/worry about the age factor. As that baby grows up and wants a father to do things with, a man of Elton's current age will be very old. This thinking also reflects my cultural bias--a factor I haven't worked out yet.

Have you forgotten that this baby has 2 fathers and the other one is only in his 40s?
