The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore

This is not Tennessee Williams at his best which I knew from the get-go. As I said to my theater companion "this is pretty bad but in a good way". It's all pretty silly and Olympia Dukakis seemed in on the joke as she over-acted her part of Flora Goforth. The name of her character is enough right there. Still it was nice to see Darren Pettie as Christopher Flanders going the full monty. He's pretty hot. Edward Hibbert as the Witch of Capri is very campy "old gay" and I thought quite funny. I would like to see the 1968 movie version re-named "Boom" with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton just for the fun of it. I've had worse times in the theater which is not exactly high praise but I got my TKTS half ticket's price worth of entertainment.
