For shutting down one of the most inane threads I've ever encountered on any board. Mind you, I didn't read it word for word. I'm not a masochist and I have a life. Any reasonably intelligent person could do a cursory overview and see exactly what the thread was about: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The sound of cunt farts is more interesting.

 

What is about some of the queens who post here who wish to jabber, joust, and attack each other using the most meaningless bullshit as their justification (with quotes, no less)? Are so few gay men purchasing companionship these days or is there so little going on in the world that some gay men have nothing better to do or talk about?

 

Here's an novel idea: if you're bored, broke, and on the rag, go visit MER. I hear they offer contests to attract new members. They may even name a board after you, especially if you bring a friend or two (your friend doesn't even have to be real).

 

If you don't have anything creative, sexy, or interesting to say here, then I suggest you shut the fuck up and stop boring the rest of us folk who come here for deep, penetrating stimulation. :-)

I am assuming you are referencing the thread I started some days ago. Funny I did not notice the thread had been closed until you mentioned it. The discussion had ended and there was really nothing more to say about the issue so it was finished. I concur that the discussion in that thread fell into petty attacks very quickly and I was part of that......as well as several other posters. I don't apologize for initially asking what I believed to be a legitimate question. Plenty of people were intrigued and contributed. You did not apparently although you seem to have read enough to get angry. Anyway, it is over and done. It did get tiresome.

 

There are threads on daddy's that each of us individually don't understand or get or have an interest in. Its the nature of the beast. I, for one, don't find the unending posts about LeBoyz in the Male Strip Club forum of any interest. Goodness, the club is open only once a week but the updates from the club are unending. I don't get it and I don't find it the least bit interesting.....yet it is there. And occupying much more bandwith than the recently closed thread. Coop advises me many people like seeing these updates. OK. I move on.

 

Also, I add plenty of input in the Male Strip Club forum about my experiences in other cities......but there seems to be little interest by anyone in hearing of things outside NYC (although I am pleased that Montreal has been somewhat covered again recently). For heavens sake, someone asked a question about Strip Clubs in Atlanta several days ago and has had no response....at least last time I checked. Has no-one got anything to say about Atlanta??

 

I also contribute plenty in the Latin America and Europe sections which seems to have been valuable to some people. These forums may be of no interest to you. And that is OK.

 

It is true I don't hire professional escorts much in North America. Not for monetary reasons, but rather because I I don't like hiring sight unseen. Just doesn't work well for me. I did hire two Rentboy advertising escorts in Los Angeles about two weeks ago. Both experiences were mediocre. Not great. Not awful. One used false photos but was still quite handsome in person. The other was true to his photos. It is difficult to write a review when the experience is just so/so.

 

The whole setup in Latin America and Spain suits my tastes better than in the US. I like to see and speak to the individual before hiring. For me, it is not just about the looks but also how they carry themselves. Can't do that with Rentboy. What I do find interesting in North America is the whole strip-club scene. I do like some of the guys at Twist, Stock, and other locations. I find my encounters with those guys more satisfying than with guys on Rentboy......but one cannot write a review as most are not officially escorts and one does not want to jeopardize their employment situation.

 

In closing I feel I do contribute plenty here that is valued by others......or so they have told me. I have unique experiences to share and I am happy to share them. You and others may not have liked the closed thread.....and you are certainly entitled to that view. I have no issue with that.

 

The best advice is if you don't like a particular discussion thread, don't read it. I am not trying to be condecending. I just think its a good rule of thumb.
