Last August and September there was a thread on the bedbug infestation in NYC. Before the holidays, I saw some segments of the nightly nbc news which seemed to say the situation is not improving, even the Waldorf Astoria was mentioned. My sister told me over the holidays that people left NYC hotels in droves because of the problem. Today, I was reading that one escort I would love to meet will be there in a few months, I was tempted to go - But, before I consider, does anyone have an update and an idea of when they think this problem will be overcome?

Happy, the NYC bedbug problem isn't quite as bad as you make it out to be. While there are more and more reports of bedbug infestations, there are plenty of hotels that haven't been cited or received complaints. You might want to look at bedbugregistry.com, where people go to report any bedbug incidents, to see if the hotel that the escort is staying at has been reported. Good luck.

I travel almost all year round and log about 250 room nights in hotels. I inspect every room I stay in. I always keep my luggage off the floor and bed and always hang up my clothes. To date, I have never encountered a bed bug.

If you are just visiting an escort at his incall, I highly doubt there will be a problem. They don't attach themselves to the human body like lice, so just keep your clothes off the bed/floor and you'll be fine.
