Using My Real Name In An Email

I published this under the Deli in responce to another poster but felt it was important enough to post here too.

 

Here is what is written in the "Rules" section:

Real names and contact information that has not been published by the individual may not be posted. Stage names or published contact information is allowed or we'd never be able to discuss anyone. The key word is published. Private communication via email, mail or telephone, bathroom walls or similar communication modes does not constitute publication. If an escort gives you his unpublished cell phone number he is doing so in confidence. You should respect that confidence.

 

 

While posting a private message or private email written to you does constitute poor etiquette, if that post does not contain personal information then it does not violate the guidelines. However, many members of this board consider it distasteful. You also run the risk of seriously offending the person who sent you the message.

 

HooBoy published my email to him AND my REAL NAME without my permission. So here we go, my name is David Day and my user name here is PalmSpringsChub. So there is my real name and my home town right out there in front of everyone to see and try to find me if they wish. As long as we are at it, the email address I have used to communicate with this jerk from 2000 till now is [email protected] (hence, the dandday handel prior to this one). I have always signed my real name, but this is the first time he has ever published it. This is also the first time I have somehow managed to get on the wrong side of him.

 

So since I have been completely outed by Hooboy, and the question of who I am and if I am the escort above, why don't you check out my yahoo profile. I do not have any further secrets of my identity left on this board.

Could I ask why you included your real name in your email if you wanted to keep it a secret? Is there some requirement that you include your real name in emails to him, or is that just something you felt like doing?

 

Also, do you think that calling Hooboy an 'elitist racist pig' in your email might have had something to do with 'somehow' getting on the wrong side of him?

This was the last (and only published) emails in a series of conversations we have been having in the last couple of weeks. He had asked for my phone number and name which I sent him.

 

In this email you are only seeing one side of the thing, not both, which was exactly his plan. Don't be such fools. Do you really think anyone would write an email like that unless provoked?

 

You people may think HooBoy is an all righoutious god of some kind, but with me he has been nothing but an insulting, malicious asshole. I should be entitled to my own thoughts about him and his interaction with me.

 

But..... of course as usual the slings and arrows start, without getting or knowing all the facts. I don't give a damn what any of you think, but then again, it is not you with your real name and town published all over this space for all to see. Otherwise you may have a different feeling about it.

Regardless, I'm not going to try and unravel PSC's

saga. But suffice it to say, opportunity and ample space

has liberally been given him to present his side,

even to the point of duplicating his messages/arguments.

Yes I do think someone would write an email like that even if not provoked. There have been plenty of times when I have been insulted by people on this message board even though I said nothing insulting to them, just disagreed with a position they took on some issue. It happened just this past weekend in a thread in the 'Ask" section as a matter of fact.

Anyone who has read my posts knows quite well that I am not one of the crowd of ass-kissers who follow Hooboy around praising everything he does. But I don't think you can blame people for not knowing both sides of the story when you refrain from telling us both sides. All that we knew until your most recent post is that you sent him an insulting email and he published it with your name attached. If you don't give a damn what we think I see no point in your haranguing us about this. If you do give a damn what we think then you should tell us what actually happened in a coherent manner. Up to you.

Chub you are a sick, twisted angry man who has a lot of nerve pretening to be someone you are not. You sent an email to HooBoy complaining about my post of truth, you posted this message in the Deli section and now here. Are you trying to gain maximum impact for your cause?

Well, first of all HooBoy is far from racist. I know this for fact. Next I believe HooBoy to be of a minority ethnic background (in the States). You have no right to call him the names you did in the above paragraph.

 

I disagree with many people on this site, yet I never call people names. Most people disagree with me, yet I do not break the rules.

 

My posted link you the escort's web site did NOT contain his real name. It contained a user name, email address and a solicitation to meet and have sex with fat men. It did not contain any mention of his escort activities. it did contain many of the same pics found on his escort site. I pointed out, that if I were a fat man I would not pay this guy ... as he seems to be into fat guys and actively seeking them for sex without obligation.

 

I believe you are the escort or if not then very close to this man. How else would he know to about my post, and why would he pull his ad? What is he hiding, red flags are waiving all over the place. And if he was so concerned why would he not send an email or post something here?

 

You are in need of help. I suggest you find it before your condition becomes chronic. You have way too much time on your hands.

 

And if I want to kiss Hooboys ass I will, if I don't I won't. You are full of bait and little action.
