I did not know who to tell but I'm busting out to tell someone. While no one here has any particular reason to care and may even find this boorish or too teenage:

 

I had my first Kiss a few nights ago.

As part of my company's Diversity program, I joined the Boston Pride group at my company. I thought that is was a good thing to do as they do quite a bit of charity work in the gay community in Boston. I also know that because I was percieved as straight at work (and everywhere else) that my co-workers basically could whisper but could not really say anything to me without risking some backlash.

Well, the group had their year-end gathering at a local gay bar and were joined by a good number of guys from other companies various LGBT groups...I only knew one person there when I arrived and she very kindly introduced me around...There was one very cute younger guy who works at Harvard who spent most of the envening engaging me in converstation while very gently flirting with me both verbaly and physically.

As the eveining was coming to an end...he told me he thought I was cute and gave me a couple of kisses full on the mouth. He proceeded to put on his coat to leave and came back over and pinned me back against a bar stool and gave me several "real" kisses and asked for my phone number....Well I did oblige but was too stunned to get his info. I am now at his mercy as to whether he contacts me or not.

He made my night either way. Sorry to boor you guys but I am high just thinking about it. This cute guy kisssed me because he wanted to,,,WOW.

I didn't really understand this part of the post--but as for the more important part--Congratulations!!!!! I hope this leads to a relationship if you want one and the two of you are compatible. I have pretty much given up hope at the age of 50--well 50 in 26 days--but I'm happy for other other people when it happens. My only other wish is that I hope there are people you can share this with in person and not just those of us here on the Forum.
