Can I buy an airline ticket for an escort without revealing my name?

Hi, all. The recent thread about maintaining anonymity with escorts or clients got me thinking. I'd like to invite an escort who I've only met once before to come for a visit to New York, and I'm wondering if there's a way to buy him an airline ticket without his being able to find out my name or other personal information.

 

I don't think he can afford to buy the ticket himself as he is currently in a difficult financial situation (he's lost his day job), and I am not entirely trusting that if I send him cash he'll use that money for a ticket rather than for some more immediate need, like paying his rent. What's the best way to get him a ticket without revealing myself to him?

Sorry for my ignorance of how the financial world works these days, but for the last thirty-five years I've lived on nothing but cash, my checkbook and my American Express card. God, I'm getting old.

My procedure: the escort sends me his name (as printed on his photo id), I book the ticket on the airline's website, have the e-ticket emailed to me, I review it for accuracy, and forward it to the escort, deleting anything from the email that he does not need to know. All he needs is the confirmation number and itinerary. Nothing on the email has my name, address, etc. Over the years, some escorts have learned my name, as trust was established with them. I don't go through any other gyrations to buy a ticket, like gift certificates, wiring money in advance, etc. Recently and for the first time ever, I had an escort book his own ticket and request reimbursement when we met. I had no problem with it, but that was a huge risk for him since we had never met. I can imagine many possibilities of clients flaking on him and leaving him stranded in a unknown city. It would only take that happening one time for him to change his procedure. Other than this rare exception, I have bought tickets for many escorts, and it has worked well for me, for them, and for us....when we met and got.....physical!

Thanks, jawjatek. That sounds like a fairly simple procedure as well, though I might like to keep the charge off my own credit card. While I understand an escort's worry about a client flaking after the escort has shelled out the cost of the ticket, I've met this guy before, so it's not a total risk. Also, I've already forwarded him some money to help him out. Not enough that it would hurt me economically if he doesn't "pay me back," but enough that I don't want to advance him any more cash, hence purchasing a ticket for him which does him little good if he doesn't use it.

Hypothetically speaking. If one were to fly in an escort, shouldn't there be some level of openess between the 2 parties? How would the escort feel if he were to get a ticket from a client who removed all information about his name/address (of course, credit card info should be removed) ... would the escort "feel" comfortable in flying somewhere to meet a stranger who he doesn't know much about? -

 

I'm pretty open with any of my hires and am OK if they give me a stage name. But, if I were to fly someone to nyc, i'd think it would give the escort a greater degree of comfort in keeping the appointment and flying to meet me if I gave them whatever information they needed including my actual name and address. It wouldn't be any different if I were to hire someone for an in call at my place.. just my opinion.

 

If you didn't feel like giving money to them, perhaps you can deposit some "miles" into said escort's account so he could buy the ticket. Or the visa card option is a good one as well. I am not 100% sure about this, but I think at the airport when checking in they can print out a receipt of the payment. While the cc details are not provided (except the last digits I believe), I do think it does provide the name of who purchased it.

you don't have to buy one of those using any type of alis lol.. u just go and buy one. then when you buy the plane ticket with it, just use some made up name. it's a pretty easy procedure...

Cany....Openness? perhaps....But I have flown alot of guys to meet me, and not one has ever requested my name, address, etc before meeting. They have my cell phone number, and we always speak on the phone to set up the meeting.

I purchase the ticket from home on Expedia(or any other travel site). I then forward the e-ticket to him minus all the personal info on my expedia account. Works great and gives me the option of refunding if he cancels.

I think we have different ideas of openness. I am very open, friendly and emotionally accessible with escorts, and I am MORE able to be that way because the escort doesn't know my last name. If he did, I would be much more worried and cautious, because of the career risk involved if my hiring of escorts became public. It's anonymity that allows openness in more important dimensions.

My Safety Net Is Gone

 

This is slightly off the subject-- but for years I used Southwest Airlines for flying escorts to me if I could. Often it didn't work because if the escort lived far away, using Southwest meant that it took forever to get the escort to me. Southwest is basically best for reasonably short jaunts. The reason however that I used it was that if the escort flaked, the few instances where I had to cancel, or if for some reason the weekend/overnight hadto be put off, I could use the value of the canceled ticket for me or anyone else. Well as of January if I am reading the Southwest site correctly, canceled tickets can only be reused for the ticketed person originally named. Now if you buy the most expensive ticket on Southwest, you could still get the ticket price refunded to you, but no more using the ticket from escort A's canceled trip for new escort B.

anyone had any T.S.A. problems when making escort/client flight reservations? Sometimes if the person flying does not match who paid for the ticket it can cause red flags. I have been questioned on same-day purchases before and when I don't check bags. I normally only use one carry on when flying to see a client. T.S.A. tends to be very annoying these days but I did get a cute young 25 y.o give me a pat down the other day. and, yes, I behaved! I have never been denied boarding but I think only because of my blue eyes and all American look. I was once asked, "What is your business in Phoenix," and I told him that with all due respect it was none of his God damned business. I find, personally, that it is best if the client has my first and last name and I have his and that we have a set story as to why I am flying on his dime.
