Yea I know. But they're all dead by the end of side 10 of Tristan und Isolde - not a good precedent for the ill. While by the end of Der Rosenkavalier, each of the three principals has in her (or his [sic.]) own way grown wiser in love and sung one of the most heavenly trios in all opera in the process. Thanks to all who expressed concern. I really appreciate it. I just felt like I was on the receiving end of a few well placed kicks by a really pissed off mule. We've had a nasty URI thing going around town for a couple of weeks and my number came up at the deli.

Glad to know you are feeling better. I hope all the posts sending good wishes your way helped. I too am just getting over an URI, but it has taken two weeks plus to get over my cough.... however the sunshine here in Hawaii is helping... and I have some massages scheduled while I am here too!!

Oh thanks Dan. I was feeling better until I heard you were in Hawaii. Now I feel ill again. :) Of course I'm sure I did some of this to myself. I see everyone around town wearing coats and heavy sweaters and even some parkas for god sakes and I'm still going around in short sleeves.

 

Enjoy my friend. The color of the moment is green. As in envy. The warm tropical sun will make you feel better. As will the magical fingers. I know there was a discussion earlier of Devin Mercer. Are his fingers involved in these at all?? Do tell. Inquiring minds want, ye need, to know.

 

And while you're in Hawaii Dan, I just hope you have some luck getting lei'd.
