1st Anniversary Party, The Review

 

As for the 1st Anniversary Party, there's good news and bad... First the bad.

 

Both featured dancers, Tristan Baldwin and Erik Rhodes, were no shows. I feel sorry for customers who showed up expecting to see these guys only to learn they would not be appearing. No advanced notice was given.

 

As for the good news, there were about 20 dancers. Since most of their pictures already appear on this thread, I'll just list the line up.

What a great night!! Thanks Cooper for the line-up. With so many hotties coming & going it's hard to keep track. Especially when attention was spent on personal favorites like ADAM and NEO. Adam's an old favorite returning to Adonis after too long an absence and NEO was new to me but hot, hot, HOT! The Boys from Hot-lanta were a great addition, especially PIERCE (an especially appropriate moniker!). I think most who were there would agree that the absence of the flaky 'porn stars' was hardly noticed. And as always, TIM was a great host, running around like crazy, making sure everybody was happy. Hot men, great friends, free t-shirts and cannolies all around! Who could ask for anything more????

CGFD, Thanks for the glowing report... As for the "cannolis", were they provided by the b'day crowd? or the Club? When I left, 11ish, the only nourishment was the stellar lineup. I guess the Adonis Lounge waited till I left before serving up the goodies.

 

Glad to see and meet so many posters/lurkers from daddy's reviews in attendance. I'm sure the Club appreciates all the free advertising it gets here.

I finally got around to creating a Daddy's Forum account. I apologize to the club and the fans for the no-show, but I was being booked through another dancer/medium, for this event. He told me that the most they could do was $100; when the club was giving him 400 to grab me; he was sticking 300 into his pocket on me alone. I'm not trying to make waves here; but I was asked as a friend to 'come down' off of what I usually get to do a feature...when in turn they actually had that money set aside. My apologies go to the club and the fans; not to the friend who played me and planned on pocketing it. Joke was on him at that point.

This is bizarre 8 months after the fact and completely false. Im not one to air things out on this board, as it accomplishes little and the customers who attend these clubs have made it clear that they are not interested either.

 

But...Anyone who knows me or attended Adonis when it was in Brooklyn, knows it was and still is a one man show. The "club" never provided compensation for dancers, DJ's, doormen, advertising, special events, or PORNSTARS. I was a rentee of their space for the evening. There was no budget or shared expenses provided to me by the club, which was fine, as they assisted and supported in so many other ways. It is true that my budget was and still is $100 for any Pornstar or special performer.

 

This exact conversation occurred after the fact and to the best of my knowledge was a moot point, but as I've learned, nothing surprises me in this business...

 

This will be the last I have to say regarding this issue. Again, my apologies for bringing this nonsense to a forum that has been very supportive of Adonis Lounge and a large reason for our success.

From all the talk your new location is even better than the brooklyn location (which was great) I heard your line up last night was fantastic.
